Best Value Vacs Gaurantee

If you are not satisfied with your product, you can return your purchase under the policy stated below for up to 30 days from the date of your delivery. Shipping and insurance charges are not refundable. Simply email our customer support team at support@bestvaluevacs.com or Call (331) 281-0154 (M-F 9-5 CST).


Returns

There is a 30-day return policy from when the carrier has confirmed delivery to residence to when a return request has been submitted. Return policies do not transfer to patrons who are not the purchasing customer unless the items were noted as a gift at checkout and the same applies to warranty cases.

  • • Items must be returned in original packaging.
  • • Items must be returned in undamaged condition and free of any signs of usage such as: botanical material, resins, cleaning agents, stickers, decals, etc.
  • • Items showing signs of damage, usage, opened packaging, or wear and tear will result in a 25% restocking fee. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • • There is an automatic 15% restocking fee on all items unused and in original packaging unless the items are exchanged for something of equal or lesser value. NO STORE CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN.
  • • It is recommended to insure your item against any shipping damage by the carrier. When the delivery date of your return has been confirmed by the carrier, it may take up to 24-72 hours to process the order, inspect the item, and test the item (depending on reason for the return). Once the item has been processed, a refund will be issued for the original purchase price of the item. (Note: a 15% or 25% charge may be applied if the item has been determined as used or damaged).
  • • Shipping charges will not be refunded, unless items prove to be defective upon arrival, in which case carrier is responsible for initial shipping charge.
  • • All sales are final on items qualified as hazardous material, including butane and propane. We cannot accept returns due to hazardous material shipping regulations.

(Note: it may take several additional business days for your Credit Card to show the refund on your account. All payments made using E-checks may take 3-15 business days to be refunded.)


Exchanges

There is a 30-day exchange period from when the carrier has confirmed delivery to residence to when a exchange request has been submitted.

  • • Items must be unused and in brand new condition. You may only exchange for an item of equal or lesser value.
  • • The customer is responsible for all exchange shipping charges, unless the exchange results in a defective or damaged item, in which case the customer is responsible for initial shipping charge.
  • • All exchanges/ returns will be tested once shipped back to our facility to verify any recorded defects. If the defective item is found fully functional, the customer will be responsible for exchange and replacement shipping charges.
  • •It is recommended that you take photos before sending out any exchanges even if they are brand new. This is for your protection so that you are not held liable for any damage that may occur when shipping an item back. When sending photos, please include the name of the representative with whom you spoke with and the order number.

Damaged Shipments

If an item or packaging is damaged upon arrival, please take photos of damage and email us with in 24hrs for a claim will be filed and replacement to be shipped. When sending photos, please include the name of the representative with whom you spoke with and the order number.

Without photos, replacements/refunds will NOT be issued.

If no claim is filed with in 24hrs of delivery, NO ACTION WILL BE TAKEN.


Additional Disclaimers

  • • All replacement, defective, and exchange shipments will be shipped under the carrier of our choice.
  • • Expedited shipping will be provided upon request at customer’s expense (customer will pay the difference between ground shipping and whichever expedited shipping option is requested).
  • • All sales are final on items qualified as hazardous material, including butane and propane. We cannot accept returns due to hazardous material shipping regulations.
  • • Damaged/Missing Parts replacement shipments will be shipped with the original shipping option that was paid for initially.
  • Clearance/Refurbished Items: Clearance section items do not qualify for refunds, warranties, or replacements. PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION IN ITEMS WHEN PURCHASING.

Freight Orders

Before you sign Bill of Lading & while driver is present, Examine the cargo for the following:

  • • Any VISIBLE damage.
  • • Rectangular-shaped holes where a forklift blade may have penetrated.
  • • Indication that the freight sustained a tip-over or strong impact.
  • • Indication that the freight was dented, opened, or crushed.

If you DO see damage to the Freight:

  • • Write all visible damage on your Bill of Lading. Be as specific as possible.

If you DO NOT see damage to the Freight:

  • • Sign Bill of Lading where appropriate.

After you have signed for your delivery:

  • • If you noted damage on your Bill of Lading, take digital pictures of damaged boxes and products.
  • • Within 48 hours if you find concealed product damage call the freight delivery company immediately.
  • • Note the representative you spoke with and their contact info, date, and time of delivery.

Freight Disclaimers

  • • Failure to report damage to freight company and request inspection within 2 business days of delivery will waive your right to the replacement of all damaged products.
  • • Signing a Bill of Lading without inspecting the freight for damage means you acknowledge receipt of product in good condition.
  • • Your signature also means the freight company will use the Bill of Lading you signed to reject any damage claims that Best Value Vacs makes on your behalf.

Order Processing

All new orders may take up to 24 hours from when placed to be processed and shipped. Any product that involves being built and/or tested (extractors, ovens, rotary evaporators, presses, etc.) may require an additional 24 to 48 hours lead time. This totals a lead time of up to 72 hours for these products to ship. We will not ship out a product until it passes our safety testing.

Once the product is built, tested, and passes it's testing it will be shipped out with the type of shipping that was chosen by the customer. As long as the correct shipping option for the product was chosen.(Please Read Below)


Best Value Vacs Shipping Guidelines

  • • USPS 1st Class -- 15 oz or less, NO Extractors, NO Solvent
  • • USPS Priority -- 1LB and up, NO Extractors, NO Solvent
  • • FedEx -- NO Solvent (Tanks or Cans)
  • • UPS Freight -- 3 Tanks or more of solvent, any items that are marked as such in the product description, and any order that totals 80LBS or more.

If the incorrect shipping option is chosen by the customer that does not follow these guidelines, BVV reserves the right to call the customer and collect further funds for proper shipping method needed to ship the order out (at our discretion).


Import duties and taxes

For international customers, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to pay associated duties, taxes, and brokerage fees. In the event the customer refuses to pay these fees, the shipping carrier will return the package(s) to our facility at the shipping expense of the customer. For details on international shipping and additional information please contact us by phone or email.


Canadian customers with the option to use UPS

  • Note: We are part of the UPS e-Tailer Brokerage Program for individuals to lower the consumer brokerage fees (Excludes Business Addresses). For details on shipping and brokerage fees please contact our customer support.
  • • UPS will charge Canadian customers a brokerage fee upon arrival.

International customers

  • Note: Those who refuse to pay duties, taxes, and brokerage will result in the package being returned to our facility and the return shipping charges will be withheld from your refund.
  • • USPS, FedEx, and UPS DO NOT include duties and taxes for international customers. Customers receiving a UPS package will need to pay brokerage fees, duties, and taxes to accept the package.

PO Box

If we are provided a PO box, we will ship your parcel with USPS Parcel Select mail, which is 2-9 business days at least, unless priority postal services are selected and paid for.

To prevent shipping issues, any address that is provided with a box number may be shipped with the US Postal Service regardless of the carrier that is chosen at checkout.

UPS and FedEx do not deliver to most boxes and/or PO Boxes, therefore we reserve the right to ship via US Postal Service. If we must change the carrier and ship with USPS as a result of using a box or PO box, additional funds will likely be required. PO boxes are 2x more expensive to ship to than a standard hard address. These decisions are at our discretion.


Signature is REQUIRED for the following:

  • • Orders over $250 (or local currency equivalent, including shipping and tax) or more, it is recommended to have signature confirmation of delivery. (At our discretion)
  • • All Butane, Whip it, or Puretane. (Adult Signature over 21yrs of age)
  • • Delivery to a business/company.
  • • Delivery to an apartment, suit, or unit.
  • • All expedited orders.

PayPal eChecks:

Any payment made through PayPal eChecks to Best Value Vacs may take up to 3-6 business days to clear the bank. Until then Best Value Vacs WILL NOT ship any items or provide any services to the customer (This is the guideline provided by PayPal https://www.paypal.com/selfhelp/article/FAQ3265). When using PayPal eChecks the customer acknowledges this time period for the check to clear. If you don't want to wait 3-6 business days to receive the eCheck, you can cancel it by clicking Cancel Payment under the transaction details. (Note: Expedited shipping DOES NOT affect this 3-6 day period for the check to clear and will not be refunded to the customer.)


Shipping Hours:

Our shipping hours are Monday to Friday 9 AM to 2 PM. Orders that are chosen for expedited shipping after 1:30pm (Express, Next Day Air, Overnight, 2nd Day Air, etc.) will not ship until the following business day. This does not include products that are required to be built and tested before shipment. Any product that needs to be built and tested (extractors, ovens, presses, rotary evaporators etc.) will ship the next business day after their initial 24-72 hour lead time in the shipping option that was chosen.

Note: Next Day Shipping is next BUSINESS DAY and does not include weekends.


Verifications

Best Value Vacs will call and/or email the customer within 24 hours of purchase for credit card verification. This is for our customers' security and ours, done at our expense. The general guidelines for credit card verification are as follows:

  1. 1. New customer with an order totaling $500 or more
  2. 2. IP mismatch
  3. 3. Different billing and shipping information
  4. 4. Any large amount exceeding $1000
  5. 5. If the credit card used to purchase is American Express
  6. 6. Any order shipping outside of the United States

 

We reserve the right to call any customer for order verification as we see fit.

If the customer does not verify their order within 96 hours after the initial contact from Best Value Vacs, we will cancel the order and full refund the customer


Carrier Disclaimers

  • • Best Value Vacs is NOT responsible for the package being delayed by the carrier due to adverse weather conditions and will not refund the cost of shipping.
  • On UPS holidays: Nov 24th, Dec 25th/26th, Jan 1st/2nd -- There is NO movement of ANY package tendered to UPS
  • From Nov 21st thru Dec 30th -- A limited number of UPS Ground and UPS Standard packages, with transit times of 3+ Days, and with specific origins and destinations will require an additional day in transit. All UPS 3 Day select shipments tendered Dec. 19-20 will require an additional day in transit.

Freight Orders

Item's that are shipped via motor freight will be shipped by Best Value Vacs' carrier of choice.

If an order includes multiple items and the order includes an item that must ship via ground freight. Then all of the order will be shipped together via freight including the small pack items.

A valid Phone Number IS REQUIRED to ship, otherwise, UPS freight cannot contact you for a delivery setup window.

Freight Time is 2-7 business days: West Coast 5-7 Days, Midwest 2-3 days, East Coast 3-4 days.


Butane/Propane/Solvent Shipping Policy

Due to FAA regulations, solvent tanks cannot be safely transported via means other than ground. Any order that has solvent will not be shipped in an expedited fashion. If an order with solvent is combined with any other items and chosen to be expedited, that entire order will ship via UPS Ground/Freight. We will not split up any orders and ship them separately. If a customer is wanting to expedite specific items and order solvent, 2 separate orders (1 for the solvent and 1 for the expedited items) will need to be placed in order to do so.

Solvents do not ship to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or any other US Territory outside of the contiguous 48 States.

Shipping Solvent to Alaska may ONLY ship via freight and will be required to travel through Canada.

All sales are final on items qualified as hazardous material, including butane and propane. We cannot accept returns due to hazardous material shipping regulations.

We have this policy in place to ensure safety when transporting solvents, and to prevent any issue with shipping times for our customers.

Satisfaction Guarantee

Best Value Vacs Guarantees all items to be as specified in their Product Descriptions. If the item you received is damaged or defective, contact us within 72 hours of receipt for assistance. We will promptly issue a replacement item or part for your unit and pay for all outgoing and return shipping. International customers are not responsible for additional import duties/taxes.

Please be sure to inspect all items upon receipt. If you have received a damaged or broken unit, contact us within 72 hours for assistance. If you are unsatisfied with your product upon receipt, please contact our customer service team for assistance.

Please note: items damaged by or otherwise unusable due to odor or chemical contamination are non-refundable. Duties, Taxes, Shipping, and Handling charges are non-refundable. Our customer service team leads the industry. We strive to satisfy every individual customer, and we will be happy to assist you with any additional questions or comments!


Limitations of Liability - Warranties

To the extent allowed by local law, the remedies provided in the Limited Warranty Statements are the customer's sole and exclusive remedies. To the extent allowed by local law, except for the obligations specifically set forth in this warranty statement, in no event shall Best Value Vacs® or distributors be liable for direct, indirect special, incidental, or consequential damages, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory and whether advised of the possibility of such damages.


Product Voltage Disclaimers for Warranty

  • • We advertise the voltage of all vacuum pumps, heat pads, and ovens. We will ship dual voltage appliances if advertised and when available.
  • • It is the CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY to know what voltage is required on your power grid. We are not liable for original and return shipping charges for items purchased with the wrong voltage. We will also not be liable for any damage to pumps caused from the usage of incorrect power inputs and will hold the customer responsible for replacement charges.
  • • Warranties are void on all of our equipment that is used with power converters, or when they come standard as 110/120V power and are used outside the US or Canada. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • • Note: Owning a power converter does not necessarily mean it can handle the load required to operate our electronics safely.
  • • Please inquire with our Customer Support Team at Best Value Vacs prior to purchase to see if we approve the converter.

This warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, mishandling, chemical contamination, excessive force, repairs or replacements from outside sources, improper use, physical damage due to negligence, use of equipment beyond issued specifications, lack of maintenance, or normal wear and tear. Disclaimers

  • Proof of Purchase in the form of a copy of the original invoice may be required in the event of a warranty claim.
  • Warranties are applicable to the original purchaser of equipment purchased from BestValueVacs.com or authorized retailers.
  • Warranties are non-transferable and do not cover second-hand, used, or repurchased items not directly purchased from BestValueVacs.com or authorized retailers.

Product Protection Plans

Purchaseable Product Protection Plans on specified items are plans covered by Best Value Vacs and provide the customer with extended product coverage above and beyond the terms and life of the manufacturer's warranty. If your product fails while under the protection plan coverage please call or email our customer service department to file a claim and Best Value Vacs will gladly help you repair or replace the product with the purchased plan.

Protection Plan Coverage:

  • • Protection Plans Extend the standard warranty from the manufacturer or Best Value Vacs (See Table Below).
  • • Protection Plans are NOT Transferrable.
  • • Protection Plans DO NOT cover Power Surges, Environmental Factors, Accidental Damage from Handling or Misuse of the product.

Vacuum Pump Warranty Information

Customers using solvents such as stabilization resins (Cactus Juice™, MinWax™, Gator Venom™ etc.), alcohol and other polar solvents must use the vacuum pumps in conjunction with a cold trap for evacuations in excess of 5 minutes.

If the consumer is using the pump for prolonged periods of time exceeding 5 minutes, we require that a cold trap is used or the pump warranty is void.

These stabilization resins have the ability to break down the internal components of the pump that are plastic resulting in a seized motor voiding all warranties.

When evacuation exceeds 5 minutes, these solvents begin to vaporize and then re-condense in the vacuum pump reservoir. Once enough solvent re-condenses in the pump displacing the oil, the plastic internal components may begin to warp, melt, or seize. The use of a cold trap will condense the vapors prior to making their way to the vacuum pump preventing pump damage due to excessive use. Furthermore, Minwax Wood Hardener™ is not to be used with any vacuum pumps, EVER. (A seized motor will result within the first use.)

To prevent these issues from happening to your process, change the Oil after each vacuum pump use, Even if the use time is only 5min.

Glassware Warranty Information

All units are inspected for broken glass or parts before unit is shipped. If unit arrives damaged or glass is broken (this does not include minor imperfections or scuffs in glassware), Customer MUST contact Best Value Vacs within 3 days of delivery to file a claim and receive a replacement part. If customer DOES NOT contact Best Value Vacs within 3 days of delivery responsibility for replacement parts falls on the customer and they must pay for replacement pieces.


To file a claim:

  • Contact Best Value Vacs’ customer support team at 331-281-0154 (M-F, 9a-5p CST), or email us at support@bestvaluevacs.com.
  • Please be sure to include the name on your order, invoice number, and a description of the issue you’re experiencing.
  • Please attach any relevant images or video to help clarify the problem, if necessary.
  • Once we receive your information, our claims specialists will work directly with you to determine an ideal course of action, whether it be a replacement, exchange, repair, or return.
  • If your item is determined to be defective, don’t worry! We’ll provide a pre-paid shipping label to return your item for a replacement.
  • We reserve the right to allow warranty claims outside of the stated warranty periods at our discretion.

Vacuum Chamber Safety Guidelines

Be sure to have a safe and organized work environment, free of obstacles and possible hazards, in an open well-ventilated area. NEVER operate equipment in a confined space, indoors, or in areas with minimal flow of fresh air.

All vacuum chambers MUST be operated on a FLAT surface.Be sure to keep the equipment out of reach from children and pets.

Prior to operation, please take necessary safety precautions by wearing safety goggles, a face shield, gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator. Never stand next to or look directly inside any vacuum vessel without wearing proper safety equipment.

ALWAYS inspect all equipment prior to usage. Look for any physical damage, such as cracks, dents, or stress fractures. Should the chamber or lid have any visible damages, DO NOT USE and contact the manufacturer immediately.

During assembly & disassembly, please ensure all components are directed away from your face and other extremities.

NEVER leave a vacuum chamber or vacuum pump unattended.

DO NOT MOVE vacuum chambers while under a partial or full vacuum operation; he shocks and vibration can cause structural damage and/or failure to the vacuum.

Note: Vacuum vessels are NOT rated nor designed to be operated under positive pressure.

Acrylic and Polycarbonate are NOT resistant to solvents, alcohols, infusion/stabilization resins, liquid plastics, and hydrocarbons: such as butane and propane. Small concentrations will result in lid degradation depending on the material. For further assistance, please review the user manual. If you need to contact the manufacturer, please have the product description available in order for the customer service representative to assist you.

This chamber provides NO resistance to alcohol, acetone, acrylate and polar solvent (butane) applications.

**Failure to operate this chamber for the given applications voids manufacturer warranty and all liability by all sellers and retailers.

 

SVac Vacuum Chambers

Made for resins (not stabilization resin such as Cactus Juice), epoxy resin, silicones.

This chamber does provide some resistance to alcohol, acetone, acrylate and polar solvent (butane) applications.

**Failure to operate this chamber for the given applications voids manufacturer warranty and all liability.

 

GlassVac Vacuum Chambers

Made for resin for all possible applications including wood stabilization.

For prolonged stabilization exceeding 15 minutes with the pump running, we require the use of a cold trap to condense stabilization vapors prior to them hitting the pump.

**Failure to operate this chamber for the given applications voids manufacturer warranty and all liability.

Extractor Disclaimer

All extractors are tested under a vacuum and at pressure prior to shipping. Upon delivery and before EVERY use, the customer must pull a full vacuum and pressurize the system to 90PSI with inert gas prior to operation to ensure assembly is correct and that the unit is functioning. Failure to do so could result in potential solvent leaks, injury, or even death. We are not responsible for failure to test the unit prior to operation.

If a leak is detected after following these guidelines, depressurize the system and inspect the area of the leak for any problems with seals or defects/damage to equipment. Once a problem has been identified and resolved, pressurize the system and check for leaks again.

If the problem CANNOT be resolved, do not use the system and please contact Best Value Vacs immediately at (331) 281-0154.


Extractor Safety Guidelines

WARNING!!!

Contents may be under positive pressure before, during, and even after operation has been completed. NEVER open or disassemble equipment without ensuring that ALL valves are open to relieve any residual pressure. Even if a gauge indicates that the pressure is zero, please ensure that all valves are 100% open before disassembly.

Be sure to have a safe and organized work environment, free of obstacles and possible hazards, in an open, well-ventilated area. NEVER operate any form of extractor, including open blast, closed column, or closed loop systems, in a confined space, indoors, or in areas with minimal flow of fresh air. NEVER operate extraction equipment near electrical sources: including outlets, pumps, lights, or heaters.

Prior to operation, ensure that you and the extractor are grounded. Static electricity can result in a potentially dangerous situation. Be sure to take extra precaution during winter months and in dry climates where static electricity has a greater potential to occur. Our tripod and quad-pod design can facilitate improving safety/ grounding.

Prior to operation, please take the necessary safety precautions by wearing safety goggles, a face shield, gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator.

During assembly and disassembly, ensure that all components are directed away from your face and other extremities. ALWAYS pay special attention to the gauges on the system; NEVER assemble or disassemble components while under vacuum or pressure.

NEVER place extractor tubes or Butane tanks containing any form of solvent near exposed wiring, non-insulated motors (non-explosion proof/sparking motors), open flames, or in the refrigerator/freezer. Please be sure to use static dissipative equipment. Failing to follow these instructions may result in a potential explosion.

Never bring concentrates or extracts indoors until the vacuum purging of the solvent has been completed. Never place extracts in purging vessels until all liquid solvents, such as butane, alcohol, and propane, have outgassed into the atmosphere (outdoors). Failing to do so could result in personal injury and property damage.
